The Challenge

Scaling their marketing and selling more franchises

Pinspiration is a DIY Craft Studio franchise where crafters of all ages can come make the trendiest projects! Available craft projects include home décor, accessories, kids’ crafts, gifts, holiday crafts, and more! Studios also feature a wine and beer bar and the famous Pinspiration Jackson-Pollock-inspired Splatter Room.
Pinspiration started offering franchises 1.5 years before hiring Right Left Agency. They had received some interest but had not sold a single franchise. They were also struggling to find scalable marketing systems to bring new customers into their studios.

Content Development/ Rebranding

We started by updating Pinspiration’s logo and brand guidelines.
The aim was to make sure there was a consistent brand across all franchises. We did photo and video shoots to create lots of assets we could use across ad campaigns, organic social media and as website content. We also began publishing a regular blog targeting locations and specific long-tail keywords to attract their ideal customers.

Website Rebuild

Pinspiration’s new brand guidelines set the tone for the design updates we implemented on the website.
We got to work rebuilding their website from top to bottom: updating the design; optimizing the website for conversions; ensuring the website was optimized for SEO, which included developing local listings for local SEO; and creating an online booking system to create a better user experience and reduce friction. Within 1 year, we tripled organic consumer traffic to the site, and significantly increased online bookings and event registrations.

Franchise Lead Generation

Generating qualified franchise leads was one of their biggest challenges. Our goal was to change that.
With the executive team at Pinspiration happy with the rebrand and new website, our next step was to start generating high-quality franchise leads. We set up a landing page for potential franchisees and continued testing and optimizing it over the course of the first year, set up automated lead scoring, and drip email campaigns. The results? We generated 7,300 applications for franchise ownership resulting in 32 franchise sales. Win!

Online Advertising

With everything firing, we were now ready to start scaling our advertising efforts.
We laid out a comprehensive advertising strategy across multiple channels including Facebook, Instagram, Google and YouTube to attract franchisees and across Facebook and Google to drive customers to the studios and generate ticket sales for workshops and events. We also set up location-level advertising and saw a 7x ROAS for these campaigns.
