The Challenge

Spearhead their franchise marketing and lead generation efforts

Donut Bar is a world-famous donut franchise with its flagship location in San Diego, California. Donut Bar sells out of its unique offering of artisan donuts nearly every day, with lines of locals and tourists alike down the block. Their locations also include a bar featuring beer and donut pairings.
When Right Left Agency first got involved in 2016, Donut Bar had just launched its franchise offering. Our team spearheaded the franchise marketing initiative and set up a location marketing infrastructure.

Website Rebuild

We started with a branding exercise that led us to change everything from the logo to the website.

The main change to the brand aesthetic was the color. Whereas before the brand had a corporate look and feel, we injected the new brand with a vibrant pink and a fun, playful aesthetic that matched the target consumers. We also ensured the new website was optimized for SEO to increase organic traffic.

Franchise Lead Gen

With the rebrand and website build complete, our next goal was to get their franchise marketing efforts of the ground.
We started by setting up a landing page that we continued to test and optimize over the next few months. We also implemented automated lead scoring to rank identify high-quality leads and understand which prospects are more likely to convert. Within 6 months, we had generated thousands of applications for franchise ownership resulting in 12 franchise sales.
